Ian and Margery
Join Ian and Margery for field trips at the Fair. Listen to Ian and Margery every morning to find out what the field trip will be that day. Space is limited, so make sure to come to the FM107.1 booth at the corner of Cooper and Randal by 10:15 a.m. to sign up. Field trips will leave promptly at 10:30 a.m. each week day (except Labor Day). Who knows what you’ll see, who you’ll meet, or what you’ll eat. The Field trips are brought to you by Sweet Martha’s Cookies and Fresh French Fries!
YOU MUST BE SIGNED-UP FOR THE FIELD TRIP BY 10:15 AS WE WILL PROMPTLY LEAVE AT 10:30
Everyone signed-up will receive a goodie bag each day that will include free food coupons including: Fresh Cut Fries, Sweet Martha’s Cookies, Big Fat Bacon, Skyride tickets, and Greek meatball on-a-stick (coupon items change daily)

DAY 1 - Thursday Aug. 21 - Giant slide - Everyone gets to go down the slide. Ian and Margery will start by racing each other
DAY 2 - Friday Aug. 22 – A trip to taste the Deep-fried S-mores, located in the food building
DAY 3 - Monday Aug. 25 - Giggles Campfire Grill - Listeners will meet Giggles and be able to sample the new jumbo hickory smoked pork sandwich other signature items during the field trip
DAY 4 - Tuesday Aug. 26 - Flower Detective - This will be a contest between Ian and Margery, who will be able to identify flowers by smell
DAY 5 - Wednesday Aug. 27 - A trip to Sweet Martha's cookies
DAY 6 - Thursday Aug. 28 – Take a skyride to get a cup of Fresh Cut Fries
DAY 7 - Friday Aug. 29 – Hittin’ the Midway where Ian and Margery will test their aiming skills in the squirt gun game (Whopper Water Race or Top Spin), listeners will compete against each other

The Colleen & the Boys Million Calorie Giveaway will happen every day at high noon during the Minnesota State Fair. Approximately ONE MILLION CALORIES will be divvied up and shared among the first 50 audience members. Each day will showcase a different delectable treat from an official Minnesota State Fair vendor – so make sure to get a seat to see your favorite lunchtime buddies live! FM 107.1’s Gab-o-rama will be taking place in Carousel Park at the MN State Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 23 from 3-5 p.m. and will feature Host Swap where mismatched show hosts will share a laugh between friends while chatting about things from the Wheel of Topics. Come out and see all of our weekday hosts, and even some of the weekend crew take the stage!

Come check out the FM 107.1 Lactation Station at the Minnesota State Fair Sponsored by Health East Maternity Care and Promise Care Inc. The lactation station is a quiet place for new moms to feed and change their children. It’s equipped with a changing table, water, fans, rocking chairs, magazines to read and “mommy bags”.
