In the class, she’ll expand on some of the tips she shared with us:
1.In 2008, don’t renovate or do projects in the southern-most rooms of your home or the south part of your yard.
2.Get a compass. The best area of your house for attracting abundance is in “East 2.” To find it, stand in the very center of your home and find the area of your home that’s between 83º -97º. If it includes your front door or is a heavily trafficked area, you’re in good shape. If not, install a fountain or fish tank in that space on April 8th at precisely 7:30am (and keep it there until Feb 4, 2009).
3.To boost the success of financial/property investments, use the same technique to find the “SE 3” area of your home – that’s between 143 º - 157 º. Install your fountain or tank on June 9th at 5:30pm. (Note: only 1 fountain per house, so choose the most important space to you).
4. For help with a big exam, find “SE 2” – that’s between 128 º - 143 º. Install fountain/tank at any time.

June 2, 2007: How Long Do You Want to Live?
DR OZ: Today we chatted with Dr. Mehmet Oz – the medical guru on Oprah’s Dream Team – about the ways we can get younger and healthier today to improve our tomorrows. Click here to check him out in action on Oprah!
According to Dr. Oz, these top five tips account for 70% of your aging process:
1. Maintain a optimal blood pressure level of 115/75. High blood pressure adds 10 years onto your life.
2. Don't smoke. It adds 9 years onto your life.
3. Get a half hour of activity daily such as walking. A brisk half hour walk usually equals 2500 steps (aim for 10,000 steps a week). Also, one hour of sweat time a week is important.
4. Find a diet that you love and can stick with for life. Your waist size should be half your height (i.e. if you are 5' 5", your waist should be 32.5").
5. Find ways to destress. He recommends thinking twice before you respond to any situation and deep belly breathing. You can even do it at work!

Liv's Ad
WANTED: Funny, ambitious, thoughtful friend who loves celebrity gossip, reality shows, Oprah, eating out, chick flicks, TV psychics, decorating and shopping. Looking for a woman age 27 – 50 who’s a good listener, understands the time constraints of a working mom, likes my kid and my stories about my kid, believes in herself, believes in me, and believes in a higher power. Prefer low-key liberal with good style and good attitude. Must accept – or not notice - if my house is messy, if my dog sheds on you or if I sing out loud in the car. Bonus available for any friend who attends Bon Jovi concerts with me and likes them (or convincingly pretends to). Prefer friend who remembers my birthday and special occasions. No running allowed, at least not together. Other than my ongoing lack of time for friendship, I’m a good catch. I am known to send cards, buy good gifts, email regularly, listen well and serve as lead cheerleader. I’m a Libra and, though I don’t really know what that means for me, I would appreciate it if you do. I’m looking forward to becoming your friend!
