A teen has been charged in the death of a man inside his south Minneapolis apartment.

Police said the 18-year-old was charged Thursday in the death Monday of 32-year-old Juan Francisco Canas Ramirez.

Charged with felony murder in the second degree is Arturo Andres Rocha-Campiz.

Police initially called the death suspicious, and medical officials later ruled that the victim died from multiple sharp force injuries.

According to police, investigators were led to Rocha-Campiz through text messaging and his use of the victim’s credit cards.
