Share a favorite FM107 moment: It was just another news story. An inmate, a real bad guy, was finally put to death in Tennessee. His last meal request--send a pizza to a homeless guy. The prison warden said no. But where there is darkness, Ian will always find the light. Why no? Ian was furious. Why not let that little bit of goodness come out of that horrible man? So from there and from a listener, a simple and beautiful idea was born. Let's make it pizza night at a teen homeless shelter in Nashville, Tennessee. Let's. Darci found a homeless shelter and a Papa John's, and then Ian threw it to the field contributors. We need twenty pizzas to feed these kids. Here's the number down south. By the end of the show that day, a pizza dinner was ready to go thanks to FM107.1 listeners. The next morning, the good news of the pizza night and the good news of the kindness and generosity of Minnesotans made it to the front page of The Tennessean, the big paper in Nashville. By that afternoon, the good news was on CNN and by that night the story made it's way, or so we heard, to Kazakhstan.
