Name: Donny Love
Hometown: Richfield, MN
Been with FM107 since: The very beginning! June 2002
What is your role at FM107?: Produce and attempt to tame Lori and Julia. Being the voice of reason in a wilderness of estrogen is a daily challenge.
What do you wish your role was at FM107?: I couldn't wish for more---really! Well, except for maybe wanting to co-hosting my own show someday.
Share a favorite FM107 moment: It's got to be when a listener calls to tell us they are laughing so hard they are in tears or they can't get out of their car even though they're sitting in their driveway because they don't want to miss anything or perhaps best of all that after having a bad day at work someone tells us we put a smile on their face.
Share some behind the scenes FM107 gossip: We are just the same people off the air as we are on the air. We're all very genuine and don't put on an "act" for the shows.
List all of the "hats" you wear in your current life: Husband, father, friend, dishwasher, laundry-doer and all-around goofball.
Describe any past fashion fads that you at the time embraced but now regret: A polyester disco suit! Hey, it was the 70's. I was far from alone.
Name a television character past or present that best describes your personality: Spongebob Square Pants. I love his constant sense of wonderment and charming naievete.
What's your favorite comfort food?: Chocolate Chip Cookies!
If there was an FM107 reality show who would get kicked out of the house first?: I'd try to get myself booted first so I could go home. I like going home. Yep, I sure do.
Do you believe in love at first sight?: Absolutely!
First celebrity crush: Dana Dalaney
Latest celebrity crush: Sela Ward
Name another person on this earth you would love to trade places with for a day (and why): George Clooney because he is just so cool without even trying. He's a real guy's guy.
Name the last good movie you saw: Letters from Iwo Jima
Name the last good book you read: The Terror by Dan Simmons
What TV show(s) are you currently hooked on?: "The Riches" and "The Shield" on FX, "House, "Waking The Dead" on BBC America", "The Simpsons", "Family Guy" |
